Overview
Karis is the operating layer for modern marketing teams. Your Organization is the customer workspace that owns campaigns, members, Mailboxes, Credits, and billing. Everything in Karis runs inside one Organization at a time.
A typical first session: sign in, confirm your Organization, connect at least one Gmail or Feishu Mailbox, create a campaign brief, run a sourcing session, and send your first outreach from the Outbox.
Organization setup
After sign-in, Karis routes you through onboarding to confirm your default workspace. Each member belongs to one or more Organizations through membership records; your active workspace determines which campaigns, Mailboxes, and Credits you see.
- Invite teammates from Settings so sourcing, outreach, and approvals stay in one workspace.
- Review Entitlements on the Plans page — seat limits, connected Mailboxes, and concurrent jobs depend on your Plan.
- Open the Credit Center to confirm Available Credits before running paid sourcing or enrichment.
Connect a Mailbox
A Mailbox is a stable provider-and-address identity owned by your Organization. You may connect multiple Gmail and Feishu Mailboxes at the same time. OAuth reconnects create new Connection Generations without changing the stable Mailbox identity.
Go to Settings → Gmail (or Feishu Mail) and complete provider authorization. Karis syncs incoming and outgoing messages so campaign Threads stay tied to the correct conversation.
Launch a campaign
- Open Campaigns and create a new campaign with brief, audience, budget, and routing tags.
- Set a Campaign Default Mailbox — the preferred sender for future first sends on unbound Threads.
- Run Sourcing from the campaign or Jobs view to discover creators that match your brief.
- Generate Local First-touch Drafts in the Outbox, review them, and send when ready.
When the first provider-facing send is durably accepted, the Thread receives a permanent Thread Mailbox Binding. Changing the Campaign Default Mailbox later does not reroute bound Threads.
Next steps
- Read Campaigns for brief configuration and approval gates.
- Read Sourcing for provider sessions and Credit reservations.
- Read Credits and billing for Plans, Credit Grants, and settlement.
